General Disclaimer  
1. E-Shikshaa is a venue for instructors and learners to meet and share knowledge in a Virtual Classroom environment. It provides a means for instructors and learners to come together for teaching and learning online. E-Shikshaa is a meeting ground only and is not responsible for what instructors claim about themselves or about their expertise, for the information they post, for the courses they create, or for their conduct while instructing classes.

2. E-Shikshaa is not a college/ university. We do not offer degrees, diplomas, or government certifications.

3. E-Shikshaa is not responsible for all or any part of the course content provided (or lack of content provided) by instructors. Nor do we monitor all course content posted or edited by instructors. If you decide to participate in any online course on our portal, you do so at your own risk.

4. E-Shikshaa does not validate all information posted by instructors in their resumes or in their registration details. Our instructors are volunteers and do this in their spare time for their like/passion towards teaching. It is up to each individual to research the instructor in question, to ask for references, to check those references before deciding take a class by that instructor. In this era of high technology and Internet communication, it is easy for someone to post false credentials. If you choose to take a class created by one of our E-Shikshaa members, you do so at your own risk.

5. E-Shikshaa does not make any guarantees that you will be able to enroll into a class at any point of time. Instructors own and control their online courses, enrollment policies, and all its content. Instructors are free to reject any enrollment request by any student and/or to remove any student from their class at any time. You agree and accept the instructor's right to reject your enrollment or to remove you from his/her class. E-Shikshaa is not responsible for any prerequisites/pre assessments an instructor specifies for an online course. If an instructor requires the mentioned qualifications and/or prerequisites that you do not meet for acceptance into the course, he or she has the right to enforce those requirements and refuse your request for admittance in the class.

6. E-Shikshaa is not responsible for your Internet connection or the type of Web Browser you decide to use. While we do try to make our portal as accessible as possible to the widest range of web browsers on the market, not all web browsers are fully compatible with our Virtual Classroom software. Additionally, we are not responsible for your low internet bandwidth, network latency, network outages, or any obstacle that prevents you from accessing our service.

7. If you join or participate in an online class, some personal information such as your name and email address may be shared with your classmates and the instructor. By joining or participating in an online class you agree and accept that information about you may be accessible to fellow class participants. Our service does not allow people to enter a Virtual Classroom (once an instructor has approved enrollment) anonymously or as a guest. If you decide to join and/or participate in an online class, you agree and accept that you are no longer anonymous to the instructor, to other students in the class, or to us.

8. You understand and accept that distance education (or E-Learning education in general) is a new technology that may not be suitable to your learning needs. While E Learning classes have many benefits, they also have many shortcomings. By creating, joining, and/or participating in an online class you acknowledge that it is a different and somewhat experimental method of learning and may not be right for you. As such, E-Shikshaa is not responsible for your E- learning experience, your education, or what you learn (or do not learn) by taking one of our courses.

9. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless E-Shikshaa , its owners, employees, instructors, students, members, and volunteers for any liability arising from any death, injury, dismemberment or any bodily injury (physical or mental) to you and to third parties resulting from the use of our service, as well as for any loss or damage to property to you or to third parties resulting from any use of our service (direct or indirect), in whole or in part, including but not limited to information you obtain by signing up, joining online classes, teaching online classes, participating in online classes, listing yourself as a student or expert, asking questions, reading or obtaining any information from within our service, our discussion forums, or reading any content posted by us, an instructor, or a user. Such indemnity and hold harmless agreement is in addition to any other indemnity and hold harmless agreement you agree to when using other sections of our site.

10. All classes would automatically end after the scheduled end time.
