Please find below detailed steps on how to Teach Online
Step 1: REGISTER yourself with E-Shikshaa by clicking on the registration button on the Home Page.
Step 2: On successful registration you can LOGIN to the educational portal using your user name and password.
Step 3: Browse through a wide varied list of CATEGORIES displayed on the left hand side of the site to schedule a course
Step 4: If your required choice of category/sub-category is not on the list you can make a suggestion to the administrator to add the same or if administrator has provided you the required privige of creating a category, you can create the same.
Step 5:Click on the COURSES tab, choose the category or sub-category of your choice to schedule a course on that particular category/sub-category.
Step 6:Fill in all the required course level details
Step 7:If any pre assessment tests/pre reading documents are required, the instructor can load the same, during the course creation.
Step 8: On successful completion of the course creation, the students are now open to SUBSCRIBE to the course.
Step 9: The instructor’s home page would display details of a list of upcoming courses/today’s courses.
Step10:Click on the START link beside the course to enter the virtual classroom.
Step 11:Once in a virtual classroom, the instructor has the following options:
- Share an application/documents/your entire desktop with all your students.
- Chat with your students,either one by one or in a group.
- Invite more students once you are into the session through the different options provided such as by E mail,by IM or by phone
- An option to transfer your role to somebody else
- Mute/Unmute students mike
- Start a Q & A session otr a polling question on the fly
- Record the entire session,either for a playback at a later stage for students who missed the class or for a quick recap
- An option to save/print your chat conversation/whiteboard/poll questions/notes.
